Each tile gets one color. Enter them exactly as your game shows them, including repeated letters.
The answer has exactly one E, in spot 3. The second E is gray because there isn't another one, not because E is missing.
The answer has at least two E's: one in spot 4, and another somewhere other than spot 3.
Optional · Uses today's answer
This compares one word with the answer to Wordle #1962 (Mon, Nov 2) and shows the colors you'd get. That can give away letters, so it stays off until you turn it on. The solver above never uses it.
What it uses, and what it doesn't. Starting-words guide
No. It only uses the guesses and colors you enter, and filters our word list. The check at the bottom of the page is the only feature that uses today's answer, and it stays off unless you turn it on.
The way the game does. Greens are marked first, then yellows from the letters that are left. So if you guess a word with two E's and only one lights up, the solver knows the answer has exactly one E.
From a list of about 8,746 five-letter English words, built from the public-domain ENABLE list and the SCOWL word lists. It can include words that have never been a Wordle answer, and a word showing up here doesn't mean it will be one. Everyday words show in dark type and rarer ones in gray.
