What's here

Most answer sites put the word near the top of the page, so looking for a small hint can cost you the whole puzzle. We built this one the other way around. Every daily page opens with five covered hints, and the answer sits behind its own button.

The solver takes the guesses and colors from your game and lists the words that still fit, repeated letters included. The archive holds all 1,963 puzzles so far, searchable by date, number or word. And there are three guides: how to play, how to choose a starting word and how repeated letters work.

Who runs it

WordHintHub is an independent fan site. It's run separately from The New York Times.

You can reach us through the contact page.

We're not The New York Times

Wordle is a trademark of The New York Times Company. WordHintHub isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Times. We don't host the game or use its artwork, and the logo and illustrations here are our own. To play, go to NYTimes.com.

How the site pays for itself

Right now it doesn't. There are no ads, no analytics, no accounts and nothing to buy. If that ever changes, the privacy policy will say so before anything goes live.
